There are certain actions that a woman should never do while engaged in a relationship online with a man. Doing these things is sure to put a quick and final end to any further communication with him.

While chatting by email or online do not tell him the story of your life. His eyes will glaze over and he will almost certainly tumble out of his chair. Keep things short and sweet until he asks for more details…then give them to him slowly and only answer the questions he asks. As an example: If you are asked how many brothers and sisters you have, you can rest assured he's NOT asking for any details of the way you interact with them. He only wants to know the number of sisters and brothers you have. Tell him you have 2 (or whatever is the correct answer) and then ask him how many sisters and brothers he has. For each and every question he asks you, you should ask him a question. Nothing turns a man off like a woman who is long-winded who just doesn’t know how and when to be silent or know how to listen.

Absolutely never, EVER lie to him. I believe that lies will catch up with you sooner or later. A great many (as well as a great number of men) lie about their employment, marital status, age, weight, height and many other things in their profiles online. That is a big error to make. If you come across a man that you are much interested in, he will find out that you lied and you've thrown away the possibility of the relationship going forward. So, just be honest. You can count on someone being out there who will …even grow to love you…for precisely the person you are.

Don’t get too eager. It'll make you appear desperate that really . They picture themselves first and foremost as conquerors and if getting the woman of their desires to like them too becomes too easy, they will soon lose interest. I'm not saying play “hard-to-get”. I mean, don't be in any big hurry for a meeting face-to-face. Don't make the mistake of emailing them or IM'ing them too frequently. Always play it safe and play it cool.
