Adsense for some can be a tricky thing, but if you do your research you can literally quit your day job forever. Now im not saying you will become rich over night, but with time and effort you can be making hundreds to thousands of dollars per day in literally months. The first step to becoming successful with adsense is picking a subject. When choosing a subject make sure it is something you either know or can learn really well. Also make sure it's something there is money in. Picking golf or computers would be money making topics, but picking something like rocks would not. When you decide on a topic of interest you now need to check a couple things. First see how much competition you have by searching google, then check which ads are popping up when you search. If you have ads popping up next to your searches from banks and the side bar on the right is full, then you have a winner. Banks and other large business companies pay out high per click as opposed to small websites. For instance you may get one dollar per click from a bank, but from a non corporate ad you may only get five cents per click. Ad positioning is a very important thing, and you want to do it right. Whenever you place ads place them sparingly yet in the plain view of your content so that people who read your articles will see them. Not only will this keep your readers coming back with low amounts of ads, but your pay per click will be higher with less ads. Your reader will appreciate the fact that you have low amounts of ads, and they will be much more targetted this way as well which is what a consumer wants. Once you master adsense you can go on to other services such as affiliate programs and yahoo publisher network. You always want multiple streams of income and adsense will by far be the biggest, but by adding others you will make twenty five to fifty percent more earnings if implemented well. You will be successful if you implement these, and once you do it with one page start focusing on many more. Never have one single website when you can have multiple streams of income.
