The Most Difficult Superman Villains - Doomsday

By: JessicaT

Do you want to know what there is about Doomsday? Your chance is finally here. Doomsday made his first appearance on Superman, The Man Of Steel, in 1992. He was created by an alien scientist who wished to create the perfect life form. The process which created Doomsday was the most pity invoking of all Superman villains.

During Kryptons most violent time, as an infant, he was put out in the horrific atmosphere to die. He then died as a baby, and was harvested again with whatever was left, to only die again.

Perfection was the goal of this madness, as each time he died and recreated, he came closer to perfection. Doomsday would forever carry the memory of these deaths and eventually force him to detest all living things.

For this most menacing of Superman villains, defeating the entire Justice League was achieved easily, and this caught Superman's attention. He was so powerful, that he was able to defeat the team with one hand bound behind him.

There was only one of the group who had any chance of defense against Doomsday, and that was Maxima. Once Superman and Doomsday meet, they are ready to battle.

Superman had met more than he was able to handle when he met Doomsday, after fighting, began to lose strength quickly while taking a lot of hits. Neither, however, would give up.

Then, in a historic moment of superhero comic book legends, Doomsday and Superman strike each other at the same time, causing an unforgettable and history making event. Thus, the end of Superman, and the legacy lives on.

At that point, a Cyborg took Doomsday to a place farway, never to return again, so they thought. It was just one more 'death' that this villain would overcome.
